Taiko: An Epic Novel of War and Glory in Feudal Japan is one of timeless masterpieces of Japanese great writer Eiji Yoshikawa. First published in 1967, the book was translated into English 25 years later by William Scott Wilson, who is quite well-known for his translations of some Japanese literature works.
