In 1994, Walt Disney released the film The Lion King, and just like most of Disney’s animated movie back then, it involves many songs and musical illustrations. The main contributing composers for the music compositions are Elton John, Tim Rice, and there is also a score by Hans Zimmer.
The Lion King: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack contains the songs and scores shown in the movie. This album reached number one in Billboard 200 and Elton John’s single Can You Feel the Love Tonight got to #1 in singles chart. The Lion King Soundtrack album is the fifth best selling soundtrack of all time with 10 millions copies sold.
