First published in 2007, Marked is the first novel in the House of Night. It is a teen-vampire-fantasy written by American author P.C. Cast and her daughter Kristin Cast. Despite the mix reviews and criticisms, the book/series is very popular especially among young adult readers; various language versions have been published and millions of copies are sold worldwide.
