Millennium is a crime/mystery series that consists of three bestselling novels written by Swedish author and journalist, Stieg Larsson. Actually Larsson intended to have ten volumes in this series, but when he died, only three volumes had been finished. Therefore, there will only be three books in this series and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is the first novel in this trilogy.
