The novel of The Call of the Wild is among Jack London’s early works and it was published in 1903. It portrays the life of a dog named Buck in the wild land of Yukon. This book becomes London’s most famous work. Though it is sometimes put under children’s literature category, the presence of strong and sometimes “rough” content makes it more appropriate for more mature readers.
