Released in August 1987, Dirty Dancing is the original soundtrack of a movie of the same title (that stars Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey). There are 12 tracks in this compilation, with various music styles, from rock n roll, to soul, to RnB, and 80’s pop-rock disco.
This album got a massive success commercially in America and all over the world for that matter. It topped to number in Billboard 200 chart. With more than eleven millions of copies sold, Dirty Dancing Soundtrack becomes the fourth most selling soundtrack.
