Discworld, a unique and amusing fantasy series by Terry Pratchett, continues with the ninth novel Eric. The story is a parody of a German legend, Faust, hence the titleFaustEric in its first publication in 1990. In that original version, it had format that was larger than the rest of the books in the series since it was accompanied with illustrations by Josh Kirby. When the standard paperback version was published, it no longer has illustration and (sometimes) the title written on the cover was simply Eric.
