First published in 1990, Moving Pictures became the tenth novel in Discworld fantasy series by British writer, Terry Pratchett. The story in this book mostly takes place in the most famous city in Discworld, the city of Ankh-Morpork and there is an introduction of a town wittily named Holy Wood. In this volume also, the character Mustrum Ridcully, the Archchancellor of Unseen University, is introduced for the first time.
