Mort is the fourth volume in Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series. First published in 1987, this book got into the Top 100 in Nation's Best-loved Book during BBC Big Read Contest in 2003. This novel has become one of the most popular of Pratchett’w works.
The title is taken from the name of the main character in this volume and this time Death, who has appeared as side character in the previous Discworld novels, gets bigger role and being focused on more in the story.
