This is the self-titled debut from The Presidents of the United States of America, or commonly referred to as PUSA. They are a three-piece rock alternative band from Seattle, USA. This album was released in 1995, during the explosion of grunge-alternative music that reached its height in early to late 90s. This album was quite successful with some memorable singles including Peaches, Kitty, and Lump. The best position it achieved in Billboard 200 was number 6.
The members and contributing musicians for this album were Chris Ballew (vocals, basitar), Dave Dederer (guitbass, backing vocals), and Jason Finn (drums), a guest guitarist was Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil. Almost all songs were written by Ballew.
