Stephenie Meyer continues her Twilight Saga with the third novel, Eclipse. Just like the first two prequels, this book also became a bestseller. There were various responses from critics and reviewers, but mostly were positive. Generally stated that the novel was engaging and romantic, and said that it explored more mature themes than the first and second volumes. Credits were given for its well-written love triangle and the well-built character development it displayed, along with an exciting and suspenseful ending.
