Two years after Blue Valentine, Tom Waits released his seventh studio album entitled Heartattack and Vine. He wrote all nine tracks here. Though it still shows apparent toe of blues and jazz, this album also explores more of his rock side more. Among the nine songs, Jersey Girl becomes the most notable since Bruce Springsteen regularly performs a cover in his live shows.
