Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic is a graphic novel by American cartoonist Alison Bechdel. First published in 2006, the book took around seven years for the writing and illustrating processes because Bechdel chose a realistic and laborious artistic method, in which she photographed herself posing for each human figure in her work.
