Jane Eyre is a novel first published in UK in 1847. It was written by English author Charlotte Brontë, who at the time was using a pen name “Currer Bell.” In 1848, the American edition of the book was released and up to this day, it has reached numerous countries and has been translated into various languages. Dozens of adaptations in various versions (graphic novel, film, television, musical, and radio show) had been made based on the novel.
